Last month, Syracuse football coach Scott Shafer extended a full scholarship offer to 1-month-old Theo Schein for the 2032 season, Syracuse.com reported.

Was he serious? Probably not. It’s probably more a token of respect for Theo’s father Adam, a Syracuse alum and TV/radio sportscaster. Adam’s wife also is a Syracuse alum, so the couple were likely to sway young Theo toward the Orange anyway.
Now Theo just has to meet the scholarship requirements, which include a minimum height of 6 feet and weight of 200 pounds.
