Sixteen teams have been whittled down to just two, with Pakistan to face England in the final at the MCG on November 13.
The ICC previously announced details of the prize money on offer for competing nations. Here is how much the 2022 world champions stand to win, plus how the total pot will be shared.

T20 World Cup 2022 prize money: How much will the winners make?
The ICC confirmed that a total prize pool of $5.6 million (£5.05m/A$8.8m/INR463.9m) will be shared among the teams at the 2022 T20 World Cup.
The winners will take home $1.6m, the same amount as last year, with the runners-up guaranteed $800,000. Losing semifinalists will earn $400,000.
As with last year’s tournament, each win in the Super 12 phase will earn a team $40,000. For those teams not automatically through to the Super 12, a first-round win will also be worth $40,000.

When is the T20 World Cup 2022 final?
The T20 World Cup started on October 16 when Sri Lanka faced Namibia at Kardinia Park in South Geelong.
The final is on November 13 at the Melbourne Cricket Ground. Pakistan will face England.
How to watch T20 World Cup 2022
For Australian viewers, Fox Cricket will host the tournament for both Foxtel and Kayo Sports customers.
In the UK, Sky Sports will broadcast the tournament.

T20 World Cup groups
The first stage of the T20 World Cup involved eight teams that had to go through qualification.
The next group stage involved teams already qualified and the top four teams from the earlier stage. This is the Super 12 phase.
