The Fresno Grizzlies, a Triple-A affiliate of the Astros, held a taco night on Thursday. The team had 25 taco trucks surrounding the record-breaking crowd of 16,916 people. In addition to serving thousands of tacos, the team also changed its team name temporarily to the Fresno Tacos and wore taco jerseys and hats.

Taco Bell got word of the event, and stepped in.
The food chain restaurant offered the team a proposition on Twitter.
Fresno seemed intrigued by the deal, but they wanted to know one more thing before proceeding.
While the city of Fresno would likely enjoy some free tacos courtesy of Taco Bell, it appears unlikely the Grizzlies are going to be changing their name. It’s okay, though. There were plenty of tacos to go around Thursday.
