Sunday was Bell’s fourth straight game with 100-plus rushing yards, the longest streak of his career and tied for the longest in the NFL this season with Ezekiel Elliott.

Three touchdowns were a career-high.

As you might’ve already heard, Bell’s 236 rushing yards were a Steelers single-game record. He broke Willie Parker’s mark of 223 set in 2006.

His 42 touches (38 carries and four receptions) were the most by a Steelers player since the 1970 merger. The only other Steeler with at least 40 touches in a game during the past 65 years was Franco Harris, who had 41 twice. Only 52 players since the merger have had 40-plus touches in a game.

Bell had 62 receiving yards Sunday, giving him 298 yards from scrimmage for the game. That’s tied for sixth-most yards from scrimmage in a game over the past 20 years.

Bell was the first Steelers player ever with 200 yards from scrimmage and three TDs. The last player with at least 150 rushing yards and three TDs was John Henry Johnson in 1964.

He was the first player with 250 yards from scrimmage and three TDs since Doug Martin in 2012.

It was Bell’s fifth career game with at least 200 yards from scrimmage, most in Steelers history and most of any player since he entered the league in 2013. Only one other player has at least three such games since 2013 — DeMarco Murray.

Bell has also done this:

And continuing a ridiculous season-long trend, Bell is averaging 6.7 receptions per game. That would top Matt Forte’s 6.4 per game in 2014 for the most by a running back in NFL history.

Well done, Mr. Bell.
