Bandai Namco also released Scarlet Nexus in summer 2021 to positive reviews. Scarlet Nexus’ story was told through the eyes of protagonists Yuito and Kasane, and players had to complete the game twice to get a complete picture of the events. It featured unique telekinesis abilities, with the gameplay being similarly praised by most players. Bandai Namco has now confirmed a new collaboration event between these two games.

Not many details are available at the moment, but fans can expect it to be a short DLC that features fights between the main characters. The Twitter accounts of Tales of Arise and Scarlet Nexus shared images from the upcoming collaboration event, and players will seemingly earn rewards shown in the images for the respective title. From the pictures shared by Bandai Namco, it looks like players will be able to wield weapons from Scarlet Nexus in Tales of Arise and vice versa.
Many fans are speculating about the contents of this DLC, and others are sharing ideas for future collaborations in the replies. Some players want similar partnerships with Elden Ring, which is also published by Bandai Namco. However, both Tales of Arise and Scarlet Nexus were developed internally at Bandai Namco Studios, making such partnerships easier to execute.
Bandai Namco released a similar collaboration DLC featuring Sword Art Online characters in Tales of Arise. This DLC added costumes, a new endgame boss fight, and a new Mystic Arte for Alphen. It costs $15.99, and perhaps the upcoming Scarlet Nexus pack will also follow the same pricing strategy.
While Bandai Namco has not announced any major expansion for Tales of Arise, Scarlet Nexus continues to get regular add-ons. DLC 3 for Scarlet Nexus comes with Episode Karen, a new mission and bonus costume sets, and all three DLCs were included in the Season Pass for the game. It remains to be seen if Bandai Namco will release more content for it.
