Some crafting materials in Tales of Arise can be found in chests and other locations out in the field, but most are dropped by Zeugles after they’ve been defeated. Unfortunately, component drops are not guaranteed, though players can at least increase the chances of them dropping by equipping certain accessories. Even with the right accessories though, those hoping to forge 100 weapons to unlock the Arms Stockpiler trophy/achievement are going to have their work cut out for them.

Unlike many other JRPGs, however, the vast majority of weapons in Tales of Arise need to be forged rather than found or purchased, meaning that players will need to track down certain components before they can get started. This guide will teach players where to find every weapon crafting material in Tales of Arise and also provide information about weapon crafting in general and the weapons that can be forged by using the mechanic.

How to Forge Weapons in Tales of Arise
As is often the case in games with crafting mechanics, finding the right crafting components is only the first step. From there, players will need to take those ingredients to a blacksmith, who, for a modest price, will forge them into powerful new weapons. Players will be able to find these blacksmiths plying their trade at inns across Dahna’s five realms, with the first one showing up in Ulzebek near the beginning of the game.
Initially, players will only be able to craft a handful of weapons, but as the main story progresses, more and more crafting recipes will become available. By the end of the game, they’ll have access to 103 craftable weapons, meaning that there’s very little leeway for those hoping to unlock the Arms Stockpiler trophy/achievement. Some of these weapons are upgraded versions of others too, meaning that players should always keep hold of their weapons even after acquiring better ones.
