According to Yahoo Sports, Top Rank is in settlement talks with Al Haymon’s Premier Boxing Champions regarding a $100 million lawsuit Top Rank filed against its rival promotion company. A Mayweather-Pacquiao rematch is among the potential aspects of a settlement.

Pacquiao is under Top Rank’s promotional purview, while Mayweather is managed by Haymon.
The first fight between the two, which took place a year ago this week, was a major disappointment from a competitive and aesthetics perspective, but a huge financial success. While Pacquiao was in less-than-perfect health and performed poorly, the event drew 4.6 million pay-per-view buys and generated $500 million in total revenue.
A rematch “could easily exceed 2 million buys,” Yahoo reports.

While Pacquiao is also officially retired, he’s made his desire for another shot at Mayweather known.
